Important Note: The Company is in the process of transitioning administration of our leaves of absence and disability plans from Sun Life to The Hartford, effective January 1, 2026. During this transition, employees on certain types of leave may need to work with both companies. Please refer to Understanding Our Move to The Hartford for details.
The vendor name and contact information on this page are specific to 2025 coverage. While your Leave & Disability vendor is changing, you’ll continue to have access to the exact same benefits.
Disability benefits (also known as Accident & Sickness Benefits) protect you and your family by continuing part of your salary if illness, disease, or disability prevents you from working. To file a disability claim, contact the disability program administrator, Sun Life Financial, at 1-833-812-5184 or sunlife-ams.com. You can email Absence@sunlife-ams.com with questions.
Please refer to your collective bargaining agreement for information about the disability benefits available to you.
