Welcome to Your Benefits4Me Program!

Our comprehensive benefits program—Benefits4Me—goes far beyond the basics and offers something for everyone, no matter what your goals are, and will grow with you as your life changes.

We know you have a lot to do as you settle into your new job. Please keep in mind that you must meet certain deadlines.

Important Timing:

  • Within 31 days of your hire date, you must enroll to have healthcare and insurance benefits for the rest of the calendar year. Coverage takes effect retroactively to your first day of work.
  • Within 30 days of your enrollment, you must respond to any request for documentation to verify your dependents’ eligibility. Coverage for your dependents will take effect retroactively to your first day of work.
  • Within 45 days you must enroll in or waive participation in the 401(k) Savings & Investment Plan. Otherwise, you will be automatically enrolled with a 6% contribution. You can change or stop your contribution at any time.

HR may help point you to your benefits resources, but they don’t have access to detailed plan or claim information. Taking advantage of the resources listed here is the best way to find the information you need.

If you do not enroll within 31 days, you will only have Company-provided Short-Term Disability (STD), Basic Long-Term Disability (LTD), and Basic Life and Accidental Death & Dismemberment (AD&D). Your next opportunity to enroll or make changes will be Annual Enrollment held in the fall, unless you experience a life event during the year.

As you prepare to enroll:

  • Review who’s eligible for health coverage and gather birth dates and Social Security numbers for the eligible family members you plan to enroll.
  • Review general plan information to compare available options and better understand the value of coverage.
  • Contact a carrier with any questions about coverage, cost, or process. Fully understanding your coverage will help you make informed decisions.

You’ve explored, you’ve prepared – now it’s time to enroll! Visit Benefits4MeEnroll.com when you’re ready to begin. It’s important that you enroll by the following deadlines:  

  • Within 31 days, enroll in the healthcare and financial programs listed above. If you do not enroll within 31 days, you will only have Company-provided Short-Term Disability (STD), Basic Long-Term Disability (LTD), and Basic Life and Accidental Death & Dismemberment (AD&D). Your next opportunity to enroll or make changes will be Annual Enrollment held in the fall, unless you experience a life event during the year.
  • Within 45 days, enroll in or waive enrollment in our 401(k) Savings & Investment Plan. If you do not enroll or waive participation, you will be automatically enrolled, contributing 6% of your eligible compensation to ensure you get the full Company-matching contribution. Your account will be invested in the Vanguard Target Retirement Trust Plus Plan that has a target retirement date closest to the year you turn 65. Remember, you can change your contribution amounts and investment allocations for your 401(k) at any time through Fidelity at netbenefits.com.

Important Reminders

  • You’ll be asked to verify dependents by providing supporting documentation showing proof of your relationship within 30 days of enrolling. Once documentation is received, reviewed, and approved on Benefits4MeEnroll, dependents are added to your coverage retroactive to the coverage start date.
  • Designate your beneficiaries and keep this information up to date to help ensure your wishes are honored and your loved ones are protected.

Did you know?

At the End of the Year, You May Have to Enroll Twice

If you’re newly eligible for benefits or begin employment during or after the fall Annual Enrollment, you will be required to process two enrollment elections:

  • A New Hire enrollment, for benefits coverage you would like until the end of the calendar year. You have 31 days from your date of hire to complete your New Hire enrollment.
  • An Annual Enrollment election, for benefits coverage beginning January 1 of next year. You must enroll by December 31 to have coverage on January 1.

Please be sure to complete the New Hire enrollment first, then the Annual Enrollment, to ensure you have the proper coverage beginning on your date of hire or eligibility date.
